Among the Wild Chimpanzees -Jane Goodall In the documentary Among the Wild Chimpanzees Jane Goodall examines almost 30 years of research on primates in Tanznia, southeast Africa. This all started in the 1960s when Jane Goodall became a feature in the Gombe Reserve, a wildlife refuge. This is where she dedicated her time to study the chimpanzees social social structure from a distance. Throughout the documentary we learned how chimps move themselves and how they act in their natural environment. The first time Jane Goodall went to Tanzania was July 14, 1960 when she was in force(p) 26 years old. At first, Jane just sat on a peak at the top of a mountain, so that she could observe the chimps. The chimpanzees would keep a safe distance agone so they were fitting to watch Jane and mak e sure that she wasnt going to do anything that was not expected. After eighteen months, Jane had lastly been accepted into the animals group, she was finally considered to be one of them. Chimpanzees are a lot like globe in their behaviors. The female mothers are very affectionate and protective over the fresh and the rest of their family. The young chimps are also very takings on their mothers for necessities such as; food, shelter and warmth. In the film, Jane hardened out a pile of bananas so she would be able to observe the chimps behaviors.
